Oman: Sultanate’s riders advance

PARIS — Horse riders of the Royal Cavalry qualified for the World Endurance Cup 2012 to be held on August 25 in Britain with participation of 143 riders from forty countries around the world. The Royal Court Affairs (RCA) honoured the endurance team at the training camp in the French city of Fontainebleau to enable them to achieve better results in the World Cup.

During the training camp, the riders participated in many international races organised by the International Federation for Equestrian in France and achieved good results. The training programme is continuing in accordance with the plan by the technical team for riders and horses which will participate in the finals.

The Royal Cavalry will participate with a team of four riders in the World Cup and will also take part with two riders in individual competitions in the World Endurance Cup Finals 2012 in London. — ONA
