Malaysia: Fiaizzuddeen wins RTES Endurance Ride

TMKN Equestrian rider Mohd Fiaizzuddeen Mohd Yusof, riding nine-year-old gelding Janor Addas, emerged champion in the Royal Terengganu Endurance Stable (RTES) Endurance Ride 2010 at the Terengganu International Endurance Park in Lembah Bidong, Setiu, on Sunday.

He clocked four hours, 19 minutes and 34 seconds in completing the 80km ride, ahead of RTES rider Pailin Sungkit, astride Tora August, who covered the three loops in 4:25:06s.

Third place went to another TMKN Equestrian participant, Rosdan Mohd Nor who crossed the finish line on gelding Nashaar in 4:43:59s.

Raja Tengku Baderulzaman Sultan Mahmud, who is the head of the Terengganu Regency Advisory Council, finished 12th.

A total of 42 riders from nine endurance clubs in the country took part in the tournament and all winners received their prizes from Terengganu State Youth and Sports Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Rahin Mohd Said.
