Arabian breeder and equine veterinarian Gabrielle Deuss died in ICU at Wellington Hospital on December 3 at the age of 62.

Deuss had suffered from health problems in recent years.

She was a long-time breeder of arabian horses, and ran Aspen Hills Stud in the Wellington area. Her family founded Tarapuruhi Arabians. Deuss was also involved in the sport of endurance, both in her local area and nationally, as a rider and vet...
