Three riders seal spot for top race

SHAIKH Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Khalid Al Rowaie and Ahmed Al Rowaie qualified for the World Endurance Horseride Championship after completing yesterday's 160-km race at the Endurance Village in Sakhir.The three riders were successful in finishing their third race over 160 kms which secured them a spot in the world event scheduled next month in the UAE.
The event was keenly followed by Breef president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, endurance committee chairman Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa and Royal Endurance Team manager Faisal bin Hassan Al Ajmi who congratulated the three riders who qualified for the World Championship.
The event was held over two days and each day consisted of 80 kms divided into three stages, including 30 kms for the first two stages and a 20-km final stage.
