The Home International is a friendly competition which is run on an annual basis in each of the 4 countries, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Each country takes a turn at hosting the event. Make no mistake it’s a hotly fought contest but lots of fun and friends made for life throughout our mighty United Nations and many riders going on from a great Team Event representing their Nation to representing their country.
Team Riders consist of 12 riders competing in the Home International. All nations may have 2 additional travelling reserve members.
All Countries should intimate their intention to be present by 1st January in the year of competition to the host nation Chair or Secretary.
Shortlisted Team members must be announced by close of entries, approximately 2 weeks before the event. Teams and distances must be declared no later than 1 hour after the vetting on the Friday evening for all team horses. This allows the Chef to make any last minute adjustments after the vetting if required
